Evie - Tortoiseshell Cat for Adoption in Los Altos, California

At only a year old, this little girl has been through a lot but her sweetness continues to shine through. She is a beautiful tortoiseshell cat.

Abandoned by her family in San Jose, she was found fending for herself with a seriously infected eye at a feral feeding station. When rescued, HSSV helped provide her medical and removed her right eye. She is such a trouper, it hasnt' slowed her down a bit... and she is very healthy otherwise.

Evie is shy at first, we suspect because her people really failed her... but once she knows she can trust you, she will happily sit and nap near you and she absolutely loves long petting sessions. She feels much more at home and confident when she has another confident kitty friend in the home to play with and befriend her.

She loves treats and playful wrestling with her kitty friends, and has the cutest little tiny chirps to tell you about her day. This sweet girl needs a someone special with a little patience and gentleness to give her time to bloom, but her trust and affection are so worth it.

She is litter-box trained and such a respectful housemate. She will do best in a house that is on the quiet side and without too much chaos (read as: probably not a house with young children or dogs).
