Don't let the tiny size fool you. Thelma has absolutely no idea she is small, and she will not be taking questions about it.
Found abandoned at a park at just 4 weeks old -- left in a little cat bed at the base of a tree with a bag of dry food next to her, like someone hoped the universe would figure it out -- Thelma decided immediately that she was going to be just fine. When offered a bottle, she declined. Too easy. Too soft. She had places to be.
Thelma is one of the most personality-packed kittens to come through Rescue Street. She is loud. She is bossy. She will march directly onto your foot and yell at you when she is hungry, and she is not going to apologize for it. She plays like she is a 60-pound bobcat, attacks toys with a ferocity that is genuinely impressive for something this small, and carries herself with the confidence of a cat three times her size.
She is also, when she decides the moment is right, completely irresistible. Those ears. Those eyes. That one surprise orange tabby leg on an otherwise dark little body -- Thelma is one of a kind inside and out, and her coloring is as unique as her personality.
She gets along beautifully with other cats and dogs and would do great in any household -- with kids, without kids, chaotic or calm. She will adapt. She will take over. She will absolutely boss everyone around and you will love every second of it. We believe she would be happier in a home with several pets and activity happening.
Thelma came into this world with very little and decided to make it absolutely everything. She is ready for her forever home -- and her forever home is going to be very lucky indeed.
