Poet - Tiger Cat for Adoption in New Bedford, Massachusetts

Meet Poet, a stunning and devoted 1-year-old mama who has spent the last couple of months pouring her whole heart into raising her five adorable kittens. Now that her little ones are getting ready to spread their wings, Poet is more than ready for a glow-up and some well-deserved pampering! She is incredibly sweet, affectionate, and has previous experience living successfully with big dogs and children, making her a wonderful companion for a wide variety of families.

While Poet has lived peacefully with other cats in the past, she is understandably very protective of her current litter, so we are prioritizing a quiet, relaxed home where she can be the only pet for now and soak up all the love for herself. If you are looking for a gentle, loving soul to spoil and call your best friend, Poet is ready to write the next chapter of her story with you!

Tigers are majestic wild cats known for their distinct orange fur with black stripes, powerful build, and stealthy hunting abilities. As the largest of all cat species, tigers are solitary animals that primarily inhabit forests and grasslands in Asia. They are apex predators, preying on a variety of animals with their sharp claws and teeth. Sadly, many tiger subspecies are endangered due to habitat loss and poaching, highlighting the importance of conservation efforts to protect these magnificent creatures.
