Holy Toledo—a litter of NINE!!!
This mama cat did an amazing job raising nine babies, but thankfully, these little ones were rescued at about 5 weeks old. Mama was doing her best to hunt for food and keep everyone fed while moving her babies to a contractor’s yard. Luckily, the employees noticed the kittens and stepped in to rescue the whole family.
Born around April 23, these kittens are now about 4 months old—the perfect age for finding their forever families. They’re playful, social, affectionate, and each has a personality all their own. Here are the kittens still waiting for their people:
‍⬛ Pepper — female, blackThe confident girl of the litter! Pepper is curious, active, playful, and confident. She’s also a total sweetheart who loves attention and will happily lean in for a good head rub and sprawl across my chest and kiss my face.
Jackson the Tux Boy — male, black & white tuxedoJackson is an affection machine! He settles in quickly, has a huge purr, and loves rubbing around your ankles and winding between your legs—so watch your step! If you sit or lie down, expect Jackson to climb all over you because, naturally, your lap is where he belongs. Toby the Tabby Boy — male, brown tabbyA little more reserved at first, Tabby Boy may need a few days to feel comfortable in a new environment. Once he does, though, he’s ready to PLAY! He loves wrestling and romping with his siblings and is always up for a good belly rub or ear scratch. He’s the kind of kitten who just needs a little patience before his playful, affectionate personality shines through.
Minnie — female, black (with a few white hairs on her throat)Minnie is the mellow girl of the bunch. While her siblings are busy wrestling and causing kitten chaos, Minnie is perfectly happy to sit back and watch—or entertain herself with a favorite toy. She’s also the petite one, weighing just 4 pounds while her siblings are around 5 pounds. Sweet, easygoing, and adorable, Minnie could be a wonderful match for someone looking for a calmer kitten personality.
‍⬛ Sparky - female, black (with white spot on her throat
Sparky... while she is the midget of the group at barley 3 lbs she is full of personality. Her fosters called her a sparkplug--hence her name! She's confident, vocal, friendly, affectionate, playful. Her size doesn't hold her back, she'll tussle with all siblings and demand first spot under my chin for snuggle time.
These kittens have been through quite an adventure already and have been well loved in foste care, but are very ready for the best part: finding families who will love them for the next 15+ years.
All have been spayed/neutered, microchipped, received vaccines appropriate to age, treated for fleas/worms/parasites.
