Trixie - Tabby Cat for Adoption in St. Louis, Missouri

Hi, I’m Trixie.

I came to Crestwood Animal Shelter with my kitten, Scooter. My job as Mom is officially finished—Scooter has been adopted—and now it’s my turn to find a home of my own.

I’ll admit, I wasn’t exactly thrilled about shelter life when I first arrived. New place. New people. Lots of changes. I needed some time to figure everyone out.

And I did.

These days, I’ve become much more comfortable with the volunteers, and they’ve gotten to know the cat behind those big green eyes. I’m chill, I’m playful, and I’ve made quite a few friends around here. In fact, the volunteers have become pretty fond of me.

My story is also a good reminder that the cat you meet in a shelter may still be adjusting. I needed some time to feel comfortable enough to let more of myself show.

Scooter found his family. Now it’s Mom’s turn.

I’m ready for someone to give me the chance to discover what life after the shelter can look like.
