"You're not the only one with an online presence." - Johnny Rose
Johnny Rose is becoming more and more comfortable being part of a household and getting love.
The bed is his safe zone — his Rose Motel, if you would. That's where he feels safe enough to come to you for pets. Anywhere else and this beauty will still run. But when you're in bed, he'll come over, ask for pets, and purr up a storm. He'll even risk a reaction from your diva kitties to get petted, but he'll never fight them for attention.
He's also good with dogs. He's very curious about them, hasn't cuddled with one yet, but will get on the bed when they're on it too and is at ease with them in the same room
Timid cats like Johnny ARE socialized. They are comforted by living indoors. They are comforted by living with other cats. And some — like Johnny — absolutely love being petted once they feel safe and will seek it out. (Some timids love indoor life and being a companion kitty but never like being touched — Johnny is not that cat. He loves it.)
Johnny is dressed in his designer fluffy tabby stripes, complete with ear tufts and a plumed tail. Those big eyes, that cinnamon nose — you can't resist.
Like his namesake, he had a rough prequel, but he's optimistic in his attempt to rebuild his life. His curiosity wins over. He follows the lead of friendly cats, wants to be where the other cats are, and would make a lonely cat a wonderful companion.
He absolutely needs another cat in his home. Adult-only, quiet home is best — he is great company, just not the cat who greets your visitors.
Let's help Johnny Rose conclude his story arc and move into his forever family home.

All of our adoptable animals are cared for and assessed in foster homes (we do not have a shelter), up to date on age appropriate vaccinations and have been spayed or neutered and tested for FeLV/FIV, before they are adopted. They have had de-worming medication as a standard of care and Flea/Tick/Ear Mite preventive treatment. Medical records will be released with the adopted pet.
