Meet Astro, a sweet and mellow guy looking for his ultimate sidekick. At a year old, he’s got the perfect balance of "chill" and "playful." He’s a big fan of his toys and loves hanging out with other cats, but he’s just as happy being a quiet companion to his favorite person.
Astro is a total shadow—he’ll walk right beside you as you move through the house and loves to curl up at your feet when it’s time to sleep. When he’s not busy being your best friend, you can usually find him window-gazing or waiting for his favorite treat (he isn’t picky, but he’s a sucker for wet food).
He’s a social butterfly who gets along great with kids, dogs, and other cats. Astro tested FIV positive, but that’s no reason to worry studies show FIV cats can live just as long as their non-FIV counterparts. FIV is a cat specific disease and is typically transmitted by unaltered male cats who tend to fight aggressively. Astro is a lover not a fighter and does quite well with other cats. Keep him indoors, and you’ll help him stay healthy and ready for whatever mischief tomorrow brings.
