Estellas story is a sad one. Her owner lost her job and her apartment. Fortunately, she found temporary housing with a friend, but one that could not accept her two cats that she dearly loved. She tried her best to find them another home, driving around with them in her car on one of our hottest summer days. She stopped at a fire station to get some water for her felines. As luck would have it, the fire person who helped her knew of our shelter, had a connection to a volunteer, and called us on her behalf. We wanted to take the two cats in as soon as possible so they did not have to spend the night in a
car, but we had no room. So we reached out to the vet clinic we use, which agreed to board them for as long as we needed. A true story of it takes a village.
Despite her loss of owner and home, Estella (goes by Stella) is still the sweet kitty she always was. Stella is not quite as outgoing as her adopted sister, Blue, except when it comes to men. She much prefers the company (and laps) of men! She and Blue can be adopted together but can also be adopted separately.
Although Stella does get along well with her sister, she might not do well with other cats. If you are a man or have a man in your life, you just might be the hero Stella is looking for. Please make an appointment to meet her today!
