Meet Deon!
Leon was found wandering the streets of Brownsdale, MN, and brought to a rural shelter in April 2026 when he was about a year old. Despite his uncertain beginnings, this handsome boy hasn’t lost his enthusiasm for people—or his love of attention!
Leon is a friendly, outgoing guy who knows what he wants: humans to hang out with, playtime to enjoy, and cuddles to fit into his busy schedule of napping. He’s happy to share his affection with one special person or an entire household of admirers. The more love, the merrier!
Leon lived among more than 150 cats at the shelter and got along with most of them, although he definitely has opinions about certain feline personalities. He'd do best with older kids or an adult-only household where he can enjoy a little peace and quiet between his play sessions and cuddle appointments.
Now Leon is ready to leave shelter life behind to join our rescue and find a home where he can be someone's favorite guy. If you're looking for a friendly companion to make you laugh, keep you company, and curl up with at the end of the day, Leon is ready to report for duty!
Play with him, cuddle with him, nap with him—and let Leon show you just how much love one handsome boy can bring to a home!
