Miso is a 10-week-old orange-and-white kitten with a little ginger spiciness and a heart that’s still learning to trust the world. Born outdoors to her mama, Sashimi — who was finally convinced to come to safety with the help of raw fish — Miso and her sister, Uni, are now getting the chance to discover what indoor life and human kindness are all about.

Miso is a cautious little explorer. She likes to observe first, investigate second, and only then decide whether something is worthy of her attention. She may be timid with people at first, but she’s wonderfully relaxed around other animals. Adult cats don’t bother her one bit, and even a calm Lab mix gets her quiet approval.

She’ll thrive in a patient home that understands shy kittens and celebrates the small victories — the first curious sniff, the first purr, the first time she chooses your lap instead of hiding nearby. Underneath her cautious nature is a sweet, thoughtful kitten who just needs time to bloom.
