Howie - Tabby and Domestic Short Hair Cat for Adoption in Lombard, Illinois

f you follow Feral Fixers on Facebook, you may have already met Howie! He is currently our spokescat for our As If They Are Our Own fundraising campaign. You can get to know his backstory through that campaign but on top of being an amazing success story, he is also looking for his forever home! Howie is a two year old tabby boy. He is sweetness and light and everything nice! If you are looking for a cat companion who is easy going and just wants to hang out with you, look no further! There is a little more of Howie to love right now but he and the team of volunteers at Feral Fixers are working on that. He has lost a little weight just from diet changes. He is interested in wand toys and we expect that as he loses some weight, he will want to play even more. Howie really goes with the flow and seems to like everyone. When you walk in the room, he will come out to greet you and might even flop over for belly rubs-and its not a trap! He loves to be pet and brushed although he isnt wild about being held for any length of time. Howie gets along with other welcoming cats! He recently got two new 4-month-old roommates and he took it in stride. We think they encourage him to move around more and he likes the company even if they do get right in his face and try to steal his food! Howie would be a great cat for most circumstances. He could be your one and only or he would likely blend in with a welcoming cat. Howie truly deserves to finally find his forever home!

All cats & kittens are up to date on vaccinations, microchipped, dewormed, fixed, and tested FeLV/FIV negative. All kittens are living in foster homes in DuPage County and arrangements will be made to meet them after a brief application is reviewed. Adoption fee is a $85 per cat donation to Feral Fixers. Discounted adoption fee if two cats are adopted together, $150 for a pair. A contract will be required at the time of adoption.
