Meet Millie, a curious little explorer with a wonderfully affectionate side!
When I met Millie, she was incredibly sweet and comfortable being close. She came and sat right beside me, happily soaking up attention, and I quickly discovered that chin scratches are definitely one of her favorite things. Scratch her under the chin and she’ll happily sit there enjoying every second of it. She has a warm, social personality and seems to genuinely enjoy being around people.
At around eight months old, Millie still has plenty of that fun kitten energy. She is curious about her surroundings and loves checking things out, playing with toys, and finding ways to entertain herself. She has a silly, adventurous streak that makes her fun to watch, but she isn't all go-go-go. Millie knows how to slow down and enjoy some quiet affection too.
That combination is what makes her such a lovely little companion. She can explore and play like a kitten should, then settle down beside you and enjoy being loved on. She doesn't just want to live in the same house as her people—she wants to be part of what they're doing.
Millie would thrive in a home where she has toys and enrichment for her curious side, along with people who have plenty of affection to give. Expect her to investigate new things, make you laugh with her kitten antics, and then find her way back to you when she's ready for some attention.
If your idea of the perfect kitten is playful and curious but also sweet enough to sit beside you for a good chin-scratching session, Millie might be exactly who you're looking for.

Why adopt from Three Little Pitties?
The stray and animal overpopulation in the Greater Houston area is the highest in the nation. Statistics show that there are over 1 million homeless animals in this region alone. Three Little Pitties Rescue is a nonprofit dog and cat rescue that partners with the community to make a difference. Our mission is to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and saving all breeds of dogs and cats from the streets or animal shelters that oftentimes have no other option but to euthanize animals for space. This kitty you’ve found online is lucky to be in our program, and even luckier to have you notice it!
Three Little Pitties Rescue (3LP) wants to set you and your new family member up for success! In addition to a fully vetted furbaby you also receive other additional perks such as a code for a free bag of cat litter AND a code for 50% off a 2nd bag of litter from Catalyst Pet, coupons for a fun visit to Petco, and support through our Facebook Adopters group where you can connect with thousands of other adopters, 3LP volunteers, fosters and staff. We seek to adopt to families who understand that these are rescues and will require continued efforts but are well on their way to being the best kitties that they can be! We ask that you give them time (can take weeks to months) to decompress in their new home, do slow introductions to other pets and let their true personalities have a chance to come through.
We celebrated our 7 year anniversary this year! Through the combined efforts of all of our hardworking staff and volunteers, we have placed over 16,000 very lucky dogs and cats into amazing homes! By adopting from us, you save TWO lives! The pet you adopt, and you create an opportunity for another animal to be saved in that spot. Together, we can be heroes.
