Some kittens are the first to run into the middle of everything. Others like to take a second to look around before deciding exactly how they want to join the fun. Canyon Spirit is that perfect little mix of curiosity, confidence, and independence... and it's absolutely adorable to watch.

Canyon is a playful little explorer who loves discovering everything the world has to offer. Whether she's batting around a toy mouse, climbing her scratching post, investigating a cardboard box, or chasing after her siblings, she's always ready for her next adventure. She has that classic kitten curiosity that makes every day exciting, and there's never a dull moment when she's around.
Canyon is a little more thoughtful when it comes to meeting new people. She isn't quite as quick to dive headfirst into every introduction, preferring to take a moment to check things out first. But don't mistake that for shyness. She's a confident little girl with an independent spirit, and once she decides you're worth getting to know, she's happy to be part of the fun. It's one of those personalities that's incredibly rewarding to watch blossom.
Like any kitten her age, Canyon would love a home with another playful kitten or cat to wrestle with, chase around the house, and curl up beside when the adventures are over. We'd especially love to see her adopted with one of her siblings so they can continue growing up together.
If you're looking for a sweet, playful kitten with an adventurous heart and a little independent streak, Canyon Spirit is ready to start her next adventure with you.
**Available for pre-adoption only! Kittens will be ready to go to their forever homes at approximately 12 weeks old, giving you plenty of time to prepare for your new family member.**

The Greater Houston area faces one of the highest stray and overpopulation rates in the U.S. We're a nonprofit on a mission -- to rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome dogs at risk, while promoting spay/neuter outreach in the community. When you adopt, you save more than one life -- the one you adopted, and the space opened up to save another.
