Hilmar recently lived in a home and was the perfect pet! He loved to curl up on his people's laps, purring away and enjoying as much attention and petting as he could get. He had fun playing with spring toys and jumping out of kitty tunnels. He loved to play fetch! Everyone in the home just adored this sweet tabby boy with one exception. Sadly the older resident cat, even after a very gradual introduction, could not adapt to the presence of another feline in the home. Hilmar had always lived with other kitties and wanted to be friends but the family's cat was used to being a solo pet and determined to keep it that way.

The family regretfully returned Hilmar to our rescue and he is now at our shelter, waiting to find a home where he can stay forever.
