Meet Huie!

Huie is a beautiful orange girl who came to us absolutely terrified of the world around her. She was scared, unsure of people, and much more comfortable keeping her distance than letting anyone get too close.

But then she went into foster—and little by little, Huie started to blossom.

With patience, consistency, and lots of love, this once-scared girl is beginning to realize that people aren’t so bad after all. Her walls are coming down, her confidence is growing, and more of her sweet personality is showing every day.

Huie may not be the cat who immediately runs into a stranger’s arms, but that makes earning her trust even more special. Watching her become comfortable, seek out affection, and learn to enjoy the good parts of being a loved house cat has been such a beautiful transformation.

She’s looking for a patient, loving home that will continue giving her the time and reassurance she needs to fully bloom. Huie has already come so far, and we know that in the right home, she’s only going to keep getting sweeter and more confident.
