Meet This Sweet Tabby Boy!
Charlie was a neighborhood wanderer who would frequent my yard. I began leaving food out for him. Little by little, he trusted me enough to come closer, and I quickly discovered that underneath his outdoor life exterior he was a very sweet and friendly boy.
Then I noticed that Charlie was limping and had two sores on his front leg. I knew he needed help, so I got him to the vet. He immediately received treatment for his leg and was neutered. He was finally safe.
I have been fostering Charlie while he waits for his forever family. He has adjusted wonderfully to being indoors. He is curious about everything I do and likes to be part of the action. He has the most adorable little cooing and grunting sounds that make you smile.
He also really wants to make friends with other cats! He keeps trying to hang out with my two cats, although they haven't quite decided that they need a new best friend. Charlie is learning how to play and has discovered that toys are pretty wonderful. His favorite is a catnip pouch that he licks, bites, and tosses into the air like his own little trophy.
Charlie is an excellent litter-box user and has been a wonderful house guest. He is neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, and treated for fleas. He tested negative for FeLV (feline leukemia) but is FIV positive. We can explain about FIV if interested.
Charlie has already made the biggest transition — from surviving outside to learning how nice it is to be safe, comfortable, and loved. Now he just needs someone to give him his forever home.
Charlie has so much personality and so much love to give. Could you be his person?
