Yogi’s Story & Why He Needs You Now:
Yogi was originally found by a kind person who contacted local animal services who told her they will post him for adoption. Heartbreakingly, instead of helping him, the city released him back onto the streets, unneutered, un-microchipped, and FIV-positive, leaving him vulnerable and at risk of spreading the virus to other outdoor cats through territory fights.
But Yogi knew where he was safe. Less than a week of City picking him up, he made his way right back to the lady’s house who found him. She was so upset with City and decided this time to contact a rescue:
He has been fully vetted, neutered, and has successfully finished his intake incubation period.
Because ABC Cat Rescue's current foster homes are completely full with other cats, Yogi is currently confined to a cage. Unlike the city, we will absolutely not throw him back outside, but he doesn't deserve to spend his life behind bars. He has so much love to give and desperately needs a warm couch and a human to curl up with.
What we are looking for:
• A dedicated foster or foster-to-adopt
• Someone ready to shower him with the love and stability he has been denied for so long.
