Zip Tie (Zippy) - Tabby Cat for Adoption in Austin, Texas

ZIPPY (3mo as of Aug.) is an absolutely darling kitten who was bottle-raised since birth after his mama was hit by a car. He is super affectionate and treats everyone he meets as a new BFF. He has a loud and constant purr, and will chirp and trill when you call out to him. Zippy will give kisses when you hold him-- and boy does he love to be held!

This social boy really MUST be in a home with another friendly playful cat, and it would be best if it's a male. Being bottle-raised, he is still learning to play-bite appropriately and this is best taught by another kitty. It's certainly possible to deflect his bitey behavior with toys, but his first preference is always toes and ankles.

Zippy has wonderful indoor manners. He is very tidy in the litterbox, uses a scratching post reliably, and tolerates nail trimming very well.

We are looking for a 100% indoor home with experienced cat owners. It will take consistency with training and some patience to help him outgrow is inappropriate biting.
