Angel Cake - Tabby Cat for Adoption in Austin, Texas

Angel Cake is a curious Abyssinian mix who adores being around other cats and checking out what's happening around the house. She will run up and greet you with little chirps and will even talk to you when she has something to say. Angel absolutely loves to be around other cats/kitties and gets along with everyone. Running around with them and chasing catnip toys is her favorite way to tire herself out before curling up next to a friend to nap. She enjoys lounging in cat beds, playing with foster kitties and getting groomed by the resident cats. She'd make a perfect, loving companion for a cat in need of a friend. Angel was rescued as a kitten from a rural, feral colony and has learned to enjoy living the good life inside with friends. She has come such a long way since being in her foster home. She will come up to sniff your fingers and give you a little chirp but still prefers keeping a safe distance until she is comfortable with you. She allows her foster mom to pet her when there are treats involved and has proved to be a purring lovebug when she leans into the pets. However, Angel will need a patient, understanding adopter who doesn't mind if she chooses to keep her distance. We do believe that with time, patience, and lots of Churu, she would become more comfortable around people. If you have a cat in need of a companion, Angel Cake might be the perfect fit! She has gotten along with countless fosters and the resident cats. She is truly a special kitty who needs a special home. Will it be with you?
