Tabby and Domestic Short Hair Cats Available for Adoption in Marietta, Ohio

Ellie Rose is a gorgeous 10-year old female kitty who was brought to the HSOV on April 17, 2026 for a very sad reason since her family was no longer able to take care of Ellie Rose.

Ellie Rose has a beautiful brown marbled tabby coat with orange highlights, a patch of white on her chest/belly, white paws, a long ringed tail, and an adorable chubby face with emerald green eyes, a splash of white on her muzzle, a brown velvet nose, and extra-long white whiskers.

This older girl has a sweet, easygoing personality and posed perfectly for her Petfinder/Facebook photos on April 22nd and April 24th. Ellie Rose usually comes running to the front of her large cage when she sees the slightest chance of attention from her people friends, but she is also content to quietly continue her afternoon siestas.

Her owner told us that Ellie Rose is good with her people friends (including children), but that she is not good with other cats. Ellie Rose hadn't been around dogs in her home, so we aren't sure how she feels about canine friends.

Ellie Rose was given vaccinations and Pyrantel dewormer on April 18, 2026. She weighs 9.3 lbs.

Ellie Rose has already been spayed, so she could go home with her new family immediately with an approved HSOV adoption application.
