Meet Shae – Your One-and-Only Queen
Shae is a stunning 3–4 year old, 9-pound beauty with striking snowshoe-like markings and soulful eyes to match. But her looks are just the beginning—this girl is all about her people.
Shae is incredibly affectionate, people-focused, and thrives on attention. She’ll happily soak up pets, follow you around, and make herself right at home as your constant companion. If you’re looking for a cat who truly bonds with her human, Shae delivers.
Now for the important part—Shae knows she’s the main character. She does not enjoy sharing her space with other cats and has made that very clear in her foster home. She prefers to rule her kingdom solo and will do best as the only pet in the home.
The good news? She’s fully ready to go—Shae is:

Please understand you are committing to providing a good home for her entire life (up to 15+ years or more) - not just until her kitten cuteness wears off.

You must also be committed to enforcing good litter box habits, providing age-appropriate enrichment and exercise, grooming needs, positive socialization, and necessary veterinarian care to include monthly heartworm preventative.
Her adoption fee is $75. This includes her spay surgery, Nobivac® Feline 1-HCPCh vaccination, Nobivac® 2-FeLV vaccination, and rabies. She is SNAP® Feline Triple Test negative.

Please ensure your application is complete before submitting. We do verify property ownership, landlord references, apartment/HOA restrictions, veterinary references, and criminal histories.
Our adoption events are held each Saturday at Petco located in the Northwoods Shopping Center at 18138 San Pedro Ave, San Antonio TX 78232. Event hours are 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

SASPCA Homeward Bound Dog Rescue and San Antonio Great Dane Rescue are 501(c)(3) foster-based rescue groups based in San Antonio, Texas.

Our group focuses on assisting open admission shelters in South Texas where over 32,000 dogs and cats are euthanized each year.

Our puppies and dogs are completely vetted and live in foster homes. They are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, and tested for heartworm disease.

All adoptions include one month of flea and heartworm preventative and a leash and collar.

If your adoption application is approved and you are traveling from out-of-town, we hold your chosen pet for one hour past the event start time to allow for travel time.

We are an all-volunteer organization and do not currently have the resources to process out-of-state adoptions.

Our puppies, purebred dogs, and small breed dogs do get adopted quickly so we encourage interested parties to apply online.
