Walnut and her sister Pecan were transferred to the NHSPCA from an overcrowded shelter in Texas. Like many sisters, these two could not be more different. Pecan is social, outgoing, and friendly - she is always at the front of her cabin prancing about to get people's attention. Walnut, on the other hand, is very worried about all the hustle & bustle of shelter life. As you can see in her photo the airplane ears evidence how concerned Walnut is. If you spend a little time with her talking gentle baby talk, she responds positively and clearly wants to make a connection with a human. The ladies spent time together in foster and while Walnut was definitely the more reserved sister, she did enjoy spending time with her trusted humans. Both girls are very playful when feeling comfortable; Walnut especially cannot resist the Cat Dancer wire toy. Walnut will never be the cat who comes out to greet your visitors, but she definitely wants to be someone's heart cat. The ladies could not be more beautiful with their Siamese-y good looks, and they have very different spirits, but both are equally beautiful. Come meet Walnut today & whisk her off to the calmer and more comfortable home of her dreams!
