Carter is a seal point Siamese male who is approximately 1 year old.

Meet Carter! This handsome Siamese boy is a very shy and sensitive cat who is looking for a patient adopter willing to give him the time and space he needs to feel safe. Right now, Carter is much more comfortable staying tucked away in his cozy bed, often snuggling underneath his blankets where he can feel secure.

Carter is still learning that people can be trusted. He does accept pets, especially when he is feeling comfortable, but he will need an understanding family who is willing to let him adjust at his own pace without rushing him. He doesn't leave his bed very often at the moment, but with patience, consistency, and positive experiences, we hope to see his confidence continue to grow.

One of the best ways to win Carter over is through food! He especially enjoys receiving pets while eating his wet food, making mealtimes a great opportunity to build trust and create positive associations with his people.

Carter currently seems to prefer the company of other cats over people. Having a friendly feline companion may help him feel more comfortable and confident as he settles into his new environment. He would likely do well with other animals with a very slow and proper introduction.

Carter is looking for a special adopter who understands that his journey may take some time. He may not be the cat who immediately runs up to greet you, but earning the trust of a shy cat can be an incredibly rewarding experience. With patience, love, and plenty of time, Carter may surprise you with just how much of his sweet personality he has to share.

Carter is neutered, microchipped, and vaccinated for FVRCP and rabies. He is FIV and FeLV negative and on parasite preventions. His adoption fee is $300.
