Mackerel, our Chocolate Brown Siamese cat, is a big, sweet boy who is said to enjoy being a lap cat. He turned 5 years old in June so Mackerel is looking forward to many years in his new home where he can enjoy warm laps, a bit of playtime, and lots of love. Mackerel came from a home with other cats so joining a home with other cats might work if the slow-introduction process is followed. He also is reported to have been good with dogs,
Mackerel is a Guardian Angel cat - a Guardian Angel is a dog or cat that commands a higher adoption fee. This higher fee is then used to help support the animals that may be with us for a longer time period, some of whom may also incur higher medical expenses. Mackerel's Guardian Angel adoption fee of $150 includes spaying/neutering, age-appropriate vaccinations, tested for FIV/FELV, microchipping, and a complimentary wellness visit at Phoenix Mountain Animal Hospital.
