Miso - Siamese and American Shorthair Cat for Adoption in Maple Valley, Washington

Miso is a roughly 4-5 month old Siamese mix, with a mix of blue point and tabby markings. He is a sweet, curious, chatty boy looking for his forever family in a home with another indoor-only cat already in residence to play and bond with.
Miso is on the sensitive and shy side, but once he warms up he will constantly seek affection. He seems to be a cat that will choose his favorite person, and be glued to their side. He’s extremely chatty, and will sing to you in the cutest high pitched voice. He’s a sucker for cheek and neck scratches, and melts for kisses. He’s game for endless play with wand and feather toys.
Miso lives in a foster home with young children and a medium-sized dog. While he is VERY sweet with kids, he may be happier in a home with older or no kids, simply because a rambunctious environment seems to overwhelm him. He does well with the dog, and should do well in a home that has a cat-savvy dog (but would be fine without one too). He does startle easily from loud noises or quick movement, but recovers quick with reassurance. This loving boy can’t wait to meet his forever family!

All of our cats and kittens are spayed or neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, treated for roundworms and other parasites as needed . Adoption includes a fleece blanket and discount coupons.

South County Cats is a volunteer-driven, IRS 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Our kittens are fostered in volunteers' homes. Most kittens come from rescue situations and some are not suitable for young children. ALL kittens must be adopted in pairs or to a home with another young cat or kitten. Adoption donation - $140 (cash)/$145 (Venmo) for kittens and $80 (cash)/$85 (Venmo) for adult cats and kittens over six months old. This helps cover the spay or neuter and care of this kitten and the spay or neuter of its mother and other household/yard cats to stop the uncontrolled breeding that leads to overpopulation and homelessness. Adopted cats and kittens MUST go home in a secure carrier, no cardboard boxes.
