At 5 years old, Tetsu is a handsome Siamese mix with a playful spirit, a love for affection, and a few adorable quirks that make him one of a kind. This sweet boy may need a little extra patience to feel comfortable, but once he knows he’s safe, his loving personality shines!

Tetsu is partially blind due to an infection he experienced as a newborn kitten, but don’t let that fool you! He’s a perfectly healthy guy who still enjoys all the things cats love. He’s playful, enjoys chasing noisy toys that help him find them, and can often be found soaking up the sunshine in his favorite sunny spot. He’s also a big fan of treats, occasional catnip, and, of course, belly rubs!

One of Tetsu’s funniest quirks? He has a special appreciation for men with beards! If you have facial hair, be prepared for him to rub his face all over yours and use your beard as his very own grooming brush. He can be especially affectionate with men, making him a wonderful companion for someone looking for a devoted feline friend.

Because Tetsu has limited vision, sudden movements and unexpected noises can startle him. He feels most comfortable in a calm, predictable environment where he has time to learn his surroundings and trust his people. In a busy home with little ones, he tends to spend much of his time hiding. But when the house quiets down, a different Tetsu emerges! He comes out to play, climbs into laps, and happily soaks up the affection he’s been waiting for.

Tetsu deserves a home where he can feel safe enough to be himself all day long. He would do best in a peaceful home with older children, ideally ages 12 and up, and without high-energy dogs. The good news? He loves other cats and could make a wonderful feline companion!
