Hi! My name is Captain and I would like to be your new friend. I had a home once and I really loved my people than suddenly, one day they packed up all their things and left. I was so confused, I thought they loved me as much as I loved them but they just forgot me like an old pair of socks. How could they do that? What was I supposed to do? I waited for them on the porch where they left me for days waiting for them to realize they forgot me. Surely they will come back for me, but they didnt. I got so hungry, I ate the bowl of food they left me and no one came back to fill my bowl again. I was so sad but I had to do something so I went door to door searching for someone to help me. Finally I found some really nice people. They fed me every day, they gave me lots of love and pets. They even bought me a nice cozy heated house. It was nice but I was so lonely outside by myself. I sat in the peoples window, looking in for hours everyday. I gave them my best sad face but they still did not let me come inside. I tried to sneak in, I tried to show them what a good boy I am but it didn't work. Until one day they decided I really did need an inside home, just not their home because they had other cats. (I like other cats but I guess their cats didnt want a friend).
So here I am now in a foster home. Its really nice, I get lots of love and food here too but the lady says I cant live with her forever either. She will help me find a forever home. So.... Can I live with you? I promise I am a really good boy. I love to sit in your lap, I love lots of pets, I am just all around lovable. Please, Im so tired of not having a home. Will you love me and let me live inside? Please?
