This sweet gentle docile kitty was abandoned in an apt complex to fend for himself. His owner moved away and left him behind. He was fixed or chipped. Neighbors took turns leaving food and water out but no one wanted to give him a home. Animal control and shelters won’t help unless they are sick, injured or dying. Finally someone reached out to private rescue for help and after several weeks, cold rainy nights of trying to find him, asher was secured and brought to a foster home.
Handsome Asher is very very easy going and laid back. Super chill! He’s easy to pick up, hold and carry. He likes attention and being pet. He will come to you for pets and will lay next to you to take naps. He gets along with other cats and has no problem with small cat friendly dogs. He would be fine as an only pet as well, but gets bored easily. He likes to sit by windows and enjoy the view and fresh air.

fully vetted and ready for adoption! They have been neutered, fully vaccinated, microchipped, tested negative for leukemia and positive for FIV (not a big deal), and treated for fleas and worms. Adopting saves you the time and cost of these medical procedures, which would typically be 2–4 times more at a veterinary clinic and take up more of your time.
