A Scottish Fold breeder is closing her cattery and Purebreds Plus has taken in a group of these Folds. Cookie is the first of them to get posted. He's a wonderful example of this much-loved breed. Of course, he has very folded ears, which are always prized, but he also has the very sweet, affectionate nature that Scottish Folds are known for. His head looks like a round ball, "like an owl ", with especially large, round eyes. They call this type of eyes "headlight eyes" for obvious reasons.

Cookie is a young, playful boy who came to us already neutered. He seems to like everything: He loves attention. He loves food. And he especially loves feet, human feet. (Yes, he has a foot fetish.) He'll wind around your feet and rub on them with unselfconscious enthusiasm. He' is such a fun kitty.

This nice breeder allowed her kitties to run loose in her house so they are very well socialized. They are also all comfortable w the company of other cats. Their breeder fed them a healthy mostly raw food diet, which we have changed into a slightly sauteed chicken and turkey diet -with some kibble. At about 8 pounds Cookie has no problem with his appetite.

Cookie would be happy to be an only cat if his family were around a lot of the time. He would be fine with children over 3 feet high. I don't know how he is with the dogs, but I expect if they were friendly, he'd want to play with them. I think he might be happier to go to a home that had another cat or cats in it or to be adopted with another of these wonderful Folds when we get ready for that.

What he wants most is to be loved and included in the life of his new family. He's not a crazy play monster and he's also not a sleep on the couch all day Persian. He has a quiet energy, but he really wants to feel a heart connection to his family and to be involved in everything knowing that he's an essential part to his family. It is very common that kitties in homes with lots of cats are a bit needy for attention, it makes sense. I was trying to photograph him and he kept coming to me saying love me love me love me love me.

Cookie's smart, playful, healthy, and very easy to care for. There's nothing not to like in this beautiful big-hearted boy. He will be so happy in his new wonderful home.
Cookie eats wet and dry food and is litterbox perfect.

Some family will be so lucky to have his warm, entertaining company in their home.
