Buddy - Russian Blue and Tabby Cat for Adoption in Windy Hills, Kentucky

Buddy is a handsome, young Russian-blue like muted tabby who recently turned 1 year old. He is playful, curious, intelligent, affectionate, and full of personality. He loves interacting with his people, playing, exploring, watching birds and activity outside, and of course - food! He is very food-motivated.

He lost his previous home because he was not a good match for one of the older, very gentle female cats. His youthful energy and tendency to chase and engage with her were stressful for her. Because of this, we believe Buddy would do best as an only cat, where he can enjoy plenty of attention, playtime, and enrichment without the stress of sharing his home with another cat.

One of the encouraging things we have learned about Buddy is that he handles clear boundaries and routine very well. He has his own comfortable room with a cat tree, toys, cozy places to sleep, food and water, and lots of interaction with his foster family. He genuinely enjoys his room and is able to relax and settle there. Having a predictable routine and a secure space of his own seems to suit him very well.

Buddy is fully vetted. He would benefit from an adopter who enjoys an active young cat!
