Kaia - Russian Blue and Domestic Short Hair Cat for Adoption in Syosset, New York

There are some days that my heart breaks and today is one of them. This beautiful Russian blue mix three year-old female cat was found on June 29 by a 16-year-old young lady who absolutely fell in love with her. This morning three weeks later, the original family was located, and the cat was returned to them. Not an hour later another Neighbor found the cat during the torrential lightning and thunderstorm under a bush crying. They took her in, gave her food and water and checked for a microchip and reached out to the neighborhood and the Rescue. This beautiful girl is super friendly and enjoys being held, and cuddling. She is the perfect lap cat and has grown up with a dog and other cats, but would be happy alone with the perfect humans. She is safe with the new Finder, and unfortunately the first Finder cannot take her back due to severe allergies. She is devastated and so am I because I know how much she loved her. I promised her I will find the perfect home and send of lots of pictures so that she can stay connected.

She will be completely vetted shortly and needs to be fixed. We are accepting applications for pre-adoption as the owner is relinquishing her.
