Hiccup - Russian Blue Cat for Adoption in Maple Shade, New Jersey

On the 4th of July, a woman walked into Petco as we were about to leave, with this tiny baby girl wrapped up in a blanket. She found her crying in the doorway of her apartment, and didn’t know what to do, but she couldn’t leave her there.

We got her to eat right away - this poor baby was starving! We were able to treat her for fleas and worms right there in the store, and then we took her home to start on her “indoor cat socialization” training.

She is a star student, and such a sweet baby. You’re gonna love her. Hiccup was quick to make friends with the other kittens under our care (the Sinister Six), and once she did, her transformation from a timid, scared girl to a playful and happy little lady was immediate.

Hiccup is a great “all-purpose” girl. She would do well as a “starter”cat for a first-timer or child. She is an excellent cuddlebug for anyone in need of a companion, and she is an easygoing girl that would happily take on the task of helping younger kids learn how to responsibly care for a cat. But if she had her choice,
she would want her forever to be a home with other friendly, playful kitties that are close to her age, or if not that, than an older cat that is still playful, and willing to accept the bouncy, fun chaos that we know as Hiccup!
