Matilda Rose is a 6-year-old Persian beauty whose world has recently been turned upside down. After the loss of her beloved mom and with her dad transitioning into a senior living home, she now needs a new family to give her the stability and love she deserves.

Raised in a quiet, low-key household, Matilda Rose has a calm and tender nature. She isn’t a lap cat, but don’t mistake that for aloofness—she shows her affection in her own sweet ways. She’ll happily lean in for chin scratches (her absolute favorite!) and enjoys playful moments of hide-and-seek - something she especially loved doing with her dad.

She has always been an indoor-only cat and has lived a very sheltered life, without exposure to children or other pets. Because of this, she would likely thrive best in a peaceful home similar to what she’s known—one that can give her time to adjust and feel safe.

Matilda Rose is well cared for, with regular grooming (she sports an adorable lion cut every few months) and trimmed nails. She’s the kind of cat who doesn’t demand attention but quietly enriches your life with her presence.
