Life hasn't always been kind to Koga. After surviving on the streets, this handsome orange gentleman is finally ready to find the peaceful forever home he's always deserved.

Koga is an 8-year-old Persian mix with a gorgeous long coat that's still growing back after painful mats had to be shaved away. As his beautiful fur returns, he'll need daily brushing to keep him comfortable and looking his best.

He's a cat who takes his time getting to know new people. At first, Koga may keep his distance while he decides if you're someone he can trust. But once he knows you're his safe person, he'll happily soak up the love and attention you've been saving just for him.

Koga is missing most of his teeth, so he especially enjoys wet food, although he can be a bit particular about his meals. His favorites are Friskies dry food, Friskies wet food, and some Fancy Feast varieties.

Because of his past, Koga is looking for a calm, predictable home where he can truly relax. He does not do well with dogs and would be happiest in a quieter household. Older, respectful children may be okay, but a home without young "grabby hands" would be the best fit.

Koga is fully vetted and ready to begin the next chapter of his life. All he needs now is someone willing to give him the patience, kindness, and love he's waited so long to find.

Koga is tested, neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped.
