Meet Dean! Dean is a big boy with a big personality! He is super friendly and affectionate and loves nothing more than being pet and snuggled. He has a long fluffy coat that is very soft, a big frame and big paws. He appears to be a Nebelung or a Maine Coon. He gets along really well with all the other cats and kittens he is being fostered with. He's also great with kids and dogs too! Just a fantastic cat all around, you are sure to fall in love with this boy!
This cat is neutered, microchipped, up to date on distemper and rabies vaccinations, dewormings, tested negative for FIV/Felv, is on flea/tick preventative and ear mite preventative.

If you are interested in adopting this cat, please submit a 'Cat Adoption Application' at www.DelawarePetRescue.org/forms This website is updated daily. If the animal you are interested in adopting is listed as 'available for adoption', that means the animal is still in DPR's care. *Please note - we do not do in-person meet and greets. Potential adopters can speak to the cats foster mom on the phone or do a meeting on Zoom or Facetime if desired to virtually meet the cat. You can pick your kitty up 'curb side'. Cats can be returned with a full refund for up to one week. *

DPR cats receive the following medical care prior to adoption:
Initial vet visit Spay or neuter (if cat is 6 months or older)Rabies vaccination (if cat is 6 months or older)Distemper vaccinationSNAP testing for FIV, Leukemia and heart wormBroad spectrum dewormers Monthly flea/tick preventative Ear mite preventative The above is standard for ALL cats in our care. But many cats we rescue also require some additional TLC prior to adoption, such as antibiotics, eye ointments, wound care, fungal treatment, x-rays, or various surgeries. We are an all-volunteer 501(c)3 charity. The adoption fee helps to offset our standard and non-standard vet bills.
