Before you turn away a cat because of Fiv , please do some research on FIV. We had a cat who had fiv and was around our kitties, he lived to be 15 years old and passed away from kidney problems. He was very sweet and super love bug. So FIV is not a death sentence Fiv stands for Feline Immunodeficiency Virus it's a virus that weakens their immune system. With yearly checkups, they can live a long and happy life. FIV cannot be passed to humans or dogs. Please don't pass up these beautiful cats remember the only reason they were surrendered was due to owner passing away, otherwise they would still be in a loving home.
