Darcy appeared at a managed homeless cat colony in South San Francisco in 2024. The Purrfect Catch Foundation trapped him, got him vaccinated, neutered, and microchipped. During the past two years he's gotten more affectionate. Recently, he was also injured with two paws punctured. He's been receiving vet care and is healing well. He won't be returned to the managed colony and really wants to be adopted. He needs to be indoor only now. He's been abused and is terrified of loud voices and yelling. He's also been struck so any sudden hand movements towards his head frighten him. He was named after Mr. Darcy from Pride & Prejudice by Jane Austen. He really is a handsome, loving boy. Just a bit complicated. He also needs to be a solo cat.
Note: We have a feline adoption fair every Saturday at the San Mateo Pet Club at 1826 South Norfolk in San Mateo from noon-3 p.m. Come see us.
