BANANA - Maine Coon and Domestic Long Hair Cat for Adoption in Escalon, California

BANANA Birthday: Jan. 1, 2024

You’ll go bananas for Banana! This young, handsome, long-haired Maine Coon mix, was found on the road, taped inside a box with another kitty. Poor Banana, spent months in the shelter, scared and alone. Because he was not adjusting well, he was scheduled to be euthanized but rescue saved Banana!

Banana is a sweet, gentle giant who may be shy at first but warms up with brushing, treats, and patience. He loves being near you, gets along wonderfully with other cats, and is especially gentle with foster kittens, who adore his calm, nurturing "Daddy" nature. UTAH is a foster kitten that has bonded closely with Banana.

Because of his past, Banana may be shy at first, but with patience and kindness he blossoms into a loving companion. He would do best in a quiet home, either as a solo kitty or with a friendly, accepting cat to help him feel secure. He has an occasional weepy eye, likely from allergies, and takes his prescription eye drops well.
