Salt is our special special boy - READ HIS STORY PLEASE - Gorgeo - Maine Coon and Norwegian Forest Cat Cat for Adoption in Bedford Hills, New York

At 5-6m old Salt has lived quite a sad life prior to rescue. At only 6 wks of age, he and his siblings Paprika, Pepper and Oregano (latter 2 adopted), sat unnoticed in a tiny 2x2 cage with minimal cuddles n' kisses. When Rock n' Rescue learned of their fate, we immediately pulled them out into foster to try and reassure them that people can be good and fun. While Pepper and Oregano thrived immediately, Salt and his sis Paprika (she looks identical to him) had a harder time. FINALLY, they have come around. Salt first and Paprika soon. Salt is loving toys and playing and adores other cats. He has been loving pets n' snuggles and purrs too! We are thrilled to see him finally happy.

Salt still will be nervous at first in a new home so please no chaotic homes or small children which might intimidate him at first. Older kids or gentle quiet kids fine. Dogs he has not really been around. Be prepared for him to need to reset a bit and re - understand that he is safe and loved since he was so unloved for so long. He is still a baby so has more growing to do but is fully vetted.
