DESCRIPTION

Pip's name comes from the NYT Game “Pips” where dominoes have to be turned around and matched up to form a sequence. She is so well named because with her swirls and patterns, she forms a puzzle of her own. Just like a domino, she has multiple dots on her tummy – just looking for a way to match them up to unlock a new home.

Of the 4 kittens, Pip has a bit of a mouth on her – a sweet little “mew” that melts the heart of anyone looking at her. She loves to drop her whole body into the dry food and is often leading the chases around the room with her brothers. She is a maniac on the cat tree and (to our knowledge) has never climbed it “correctly” – always climbing from the back side or jumping down from the 2nd tier. It would pay for her to learn to read directions! She never plays her game on the “Easy” setting – always choosing “Hard” as the level she wants to play at.

Pip likes being held like a baby and having her nose bridge stroked. She has a rumbly purr and is always up for adventure.

As a general rule, we recommend that young kittens only go in pairs or to households that already have another pet. Young kittens on their own, no matter how much attention they get from humans, usually get bored and tend to be more destructive. They need another animal to help socialize them (to learn how to appropriately wrestle, boundaries, etc). Most times having another cat is the best, though some may be okay with a gentle dog.

All of our adoptable animals are cared for and assessed in foster homes (we do not have a shelter), up to date on age appropriate vaccinations and have been spayed or neutered and tested for FeLV/FIV, before they are adopted. They have had de-worming medication as a standard of care and Flea/Tick/Ear Mite preventive treatment. Medical records will be released with the adopted pet.
