DESCRIPTION
JACK is a male-neutered short hair white/grey tabby senior cat, born about mid-December 2018. His owner adopted him (& litter-mate Sally) from an animal rescue April 2019. Per his prior owner: "He's friendly, good with other cats, dogs, & children. He & Sally have always lived together indoors." Jack (& Sally) were very reluctantly surrendered to YAPS early May 2026. The owner is moving cross-country & can't take her cats with her. We find him to be stressed/insecure from the recent loss of his long-term home, & move to YAPS. Now he usually doesn't come to you for affection, but he LOVES being petted in his resting place - often rolls over for stomach rubs. Ideally (not mandatory), he and Sally will be adopted together to continue their lives together. When adopted into a new home, he(they) should initially be placed in a "safe room", to adjust to his new surroundings at his pace.
