Iris - Domestic Short Hair Cat for Adoption in Yucaipa, California

IRIS is a female-spayed short hair white/calico cat, born Sept. 2024. She was one of a litter of seven kittens born to a cat abandoned when her owner moved. The rescuer kept them until the kittens were weaned, then relinquished them to YAPS December 2024. Iris was adopted early 2025. Her owner found her to be "playful, outgoing, & affectionate, likes to lay in your lap or be held, and likes to get up high." She was reluctantly surrendered by her owner early August 2026 because of health problems making it impossible for her to care for Iris. We find her to be beautiful & affectionate. She usually comes to you for affection & may rub against your legs. She likes being petted, or held for short periods. She gets along well with other cats.
