Glitterbug26 - Domestic Short Hair Cat for Adoption in Youngsville, North Carolina

GLITTERBUG 🖤🧡

Here's the thing about glitter: once it's in your life, you find it everywhere. On the couch. In your lap. On your chest at the end of the night. Glitterbug works exactly the same way. ✨

She's a tortie with a sleek patchwork coat of black and amber, and since no two tortie patterns are ever alike, there's truly no other cat on earth who looks quite like her. She's already a pretty girl, and she's growing into something downright regal. Give her a little time to fill out and she's going to turn heads.

She's also fast. Delightfully, dazzlingly fast. Glitterbug has a real passion for play, and she brings speed, style, and total commitment to every game: wand toys, crinkle balls, a spirited chase around the room with her siblings. She's dynamic, confident, and endlessly fun to watch. 💨

Then the game ends, and you see the other side of her. She comes looking for her people, climbs into a lap, and keeps going until she's settled on your chest, running a purr so big it sounds borrowed from a much larger cat. All that sparkle turns into pure sweetness. She's deeply affectionate and devoted to her humans, the kind of kitten who makes every evening feel like a reunion. 🥰

Torties are famous for "tortitude," a reputation for big, bold personalities, and Glitterbug wears hers beautifully: confident, spirited, and full of joy. They're also almost always girls, since it takes two X chromosomes to carry black and orange at once. And plenty of folklore calls torties good luck. We're inclined to agree.

She's confident with absolutely everyone. Kids, dogs, other cats, new people, all of it. She's never met a situation she didn't want to be part of. 🐶

Her litter box habits are perfect, and she's fully up to date on all her vaccines and routine care. ✅

She gets along wonderfully with her littermates, gentle Gumdrop and her brother Ginko, and either one would make a terrific built-in best friend. Adopting two isn't required, but a kitten with this much sparkle loves having someone to share it with. 🐾
