Peach has a huge personality! This sweet and sassy girl is looking for a family that will love her just the way she is. Peach is incredibly affectionate and absolutely adores attention. One of her favorite things to do is rub her face all over yours to remind you just how much she loves you.
When Peach first came to us, we noticed she had a slight limp and walked a little differently. After being evaluated by an orthopedic specialist, we learned she has a congenital malformation in her back legs. Her legs look completely normal from the outside the deformity is internal, so most people would never know anything is different unless they notice her limp or the unique way she sometimes sits. The specialist feels that surgery is not the best option at this time because Peach has an excellent quality of life and gets around very well.
Peach has learned how to navigate the world in her own way. She doesnt jump very often and prefers to climb onto furniture whenever possible, but that doesnt stop her from enjoying life. One of her favorite pastimes is lounging by the window, watching birds, squirrels, and the world outside.
Because of her personality and mobility, Peach would thrive in a quieter home where she can relax and enjoy life at her own pace. She does well with other animals when given slow introductions, but she is somewhat of a dominant cat and can be a little sassy while figuring out her place. She would likely do best with laid-back pets that respect her space. Peach also does well with respectful children but would be happiest in a home where she wont be carried around or handled too roughly.
