MEET MOMMA LOU! There is no one like Momma Lou and that's why we love her so much! This 1-year old girl is spunky, funky, and one of a kind in the best way. If normal isn't your thing, Momma Lou might just be the kitty for you! Momma Lou has the most distinctive, slightly /italicized/ face. Nothing is wrong with her, she is just uniquely Lou and that is something to be marveled. She always looks like she is being asked a really stupid question and doesn’t quite know how to answer. We don’t know exactly what gives our girl this beautiful twang, but nothing could quite compliment her personality better. Momma Lou’s tilted expression is the perfect pairing to who she is as a cat. She really likes bowls of water – yes for drinking but also for splashing and staring into as though a fish is going to magically appear. She loves to talk but her talking sounds like a confused bird – kinda chirping, kinds chattering, also singing? She loves to stretch but usually gives up mid-stretch and just lays down. We think she likes other cats but other cats look at her and don’t know what to make of her, and we think she hisses in personal offense. We can’t really blame them; she is delightfully slanted. Momma Lou is up to date on shots, spayed, current on prevention, microchipped, and tested negative for FIV/FeLV. All Adoptions require a Pre-Adoption Interview with a YCAS Adoption Counselor, a meet and greet, and adoption approval. Every adoptable cat is Spayed or Neutered, implanted with a microchip, current on age appropriate vaccinations including a current 1 year Rabies Vaccination, and current on monthly Flea/tick prevention. All pets are behaviorally and medically evaluated prior to being placed up for adoption. The adoption fee is $77.
