Matzo Ball Soup is one of a trio of siblings who came in as older kittens from a home situation with too many cats to care for. Because he hadn't been able to spend a lot of one-on-one time with humans growing up, Matzo can be reserved with strangers, but he will reward his family's patience with immense love. His foster described him as "a ball of fun" and the "perfect blend of playful, fun, and cuddly". They report that Matzo will talk to you, head butt, and climb up into your lap purring. He will both head butt for kisses and give you kisses in return, so if you don't want a smooch, don't pick Matzo! And of course, Matzo is still a kitten like any other and will zip around the house with zoomies, dragging every resident cat into his playtime shenanigans. Matzo's foster parent would love if he could be a companion to another cat if he isn't homed with his littermates, as he took quickly to the resident cats and spends most of his time spreading the play wealth with everyone (siblings and unrelated adults). Though he may take time to warm up to new people and pets, he has proven that good things come to those who are willing to wait. Matzo was not around dogs or children in his foster home, so we are unsure how he'd feel about living with them at this time, but we encourage anyone considering him to meet and give it a chance if they think they're a fit!
