Inky is the type of cat that is easy to pass over in a shelter-a quiet cat who doesn't demand attention when you see him, but who melts for the right person. Inky was originally brought in as an injured stray with bite wounds that required more intense care. What could've been the worst day of his life can become the best, as his injures have given him an opportunity to get off the streets (however he got there) and start again. Though he bears the physical scars of his ordeal, his loving nature and trust in people remains. Inky can be reserved at times, but for his regular caretakers, he loves to rub up, get treats, and even tolerates being held. With some patience and an understanding family, we think Inky will truly blossom in a home.

Due to his background, we don't know how Inky feels about living with other cats, dogs, or small children. Inky can be timid at times in the shelter environment and may prefer a lower activity household, but with shelter cats, you never know who they'll become!
