Barnaby - Domestic Short Hair Cat for Adoption in York, Pennsylvania

Looking for a cat who won't require much but loving scritches and meals? All-around loverboy Barnaby came into the shelter after his owner was unfortunately admitted into the hospital. Due to this, we don't have much information about his home behavior or past, but we think Barnaby's future looks bright! Barnaby for us is an affectionate, mild-tempered boy who loves to rub up on people and say hello. He trills and has little conversations with you-far from a loudmouth, Barnaby just makes kitty activation noises when he gets pet and goes about his daily business! He isn't much of a player so far... and we aren't sure he will be. But he sure is simple and sweet!

Though we don't know how Barnaby feels about cats, dogs, or small children, he seems interested in other cats sharing his area of the shelter. He's the laid-back sort that we could see adjusting well to a variety of homes, especially with similarly chill residents; we doubt he'll be running around playing rough any time soon! As always, we recommend slow, well-managed introductions after a period of separation to set everyone up for success. If you'd like a gentle companion who is happy to go with the flow, Barnaby is here for lazy sunbeam snoozes and a good ear scratch.
