Nimble is a special little girl with Cerebellar Hyperplasia, or Wobbly Cat Sydrome, who is as fiercely independent as she is affectionate and loving!

Nimble eats, walks, plays and uses the litterbox 100% on her own, navigating her challenges like a champ and then finding your lap for snuggles and a nap.

If you've ever considered adopting a kitty with Cerebellar Hypoplasia, Nimble is the purrfect candidate!

Nimble only needs a few simple accommodations to be comfortable, such as a low entry, high sided litterbox to lean against, carpeting or non-slip rugs throughout the home to help with traction and flopping, and pet stairs or bean bags next to furniture you'd like her to have access to. She would also need a single-story home or for stairs to be blocked off to avoid falling.

Nimble does NOT need Supervision. She is fully independent with the accommodations listed above. When her humans are around she doesn't mind help positioning her feet at the food bowl or burying her "business", but when her humans aren't around she does it all on her own!

Kittens with Cerebellar Hypoplasia (CH / Wobbly Cat Syndrome) wobble and stumble, but the condition is completely painless and non-progressive. CH cats have a great quality of life and, like Nimble, make up in personality what they lack in motor skills.

In Nimble's case she has mild/moderate CH. She does not have any head tremors and her lack of coordination is in her back end only, making it easier for her to get around than many CH kitties with more severe CH.
