Pat came to WARL through no fault of his own. When he first arrived, he was quite the mystery. He would quietly curl up in the back of his enclosure, giving everyone a look that seemed to say, "I'd rather be left alone, thank you."

One thing that immediately stood out about Pat was his striking yellow eyes. They're absolutely unforgettable and seem to tell a story all their own.

As Pat settled in, we began to see a different side of him emerge. When a beautiful female cat was placed across from him, something changed. Perhaps it was her luxurious black coat and bright green eyes that reminded him of himself, but suddenly Pat seemed more engaged and curious about the world around him. There was a sparkle in his eyes that we hadn't seen before.

His special feline friend has since found her forever home, but Pat still seems to enjoy the company of other cats. In fact, we think he may appreciate having a friendly feline companion in his future home.

While Pat can be reserved when meeting new people, we believe there is a sweet and sensitive cat underneath that thoughtful exterior. He simply needs someone willing to give him the time and patience to feel safe and loved.

Pat's Ideal Home: A calm, patient family. May enjoy the company of another friendly cat. Older, respectful children recommended. Unknown with dogs.
